Sevierville, Tenn. -- The Tennessee men's golf team put in a dominating performance at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tenn.

From start to finish, the Volunteers convincingly led the field at Bobby Nichols. UT won the two-day tournament by 25 strokes with a total of 853 (-11).

Sophomore Oliver Goss captured the second individual title of his collegiate career by carding a 54-hole total of 210 (-6). Goss capped off his championship performance with a season-low 66 (-6) in the second round, which also tied his career-low set at the 2013 NCAA Championship.

"Although I didn't play too well today, it feels great to be back in the winner's circle," Goss said. "I'm stoked for the team to get our second win in-a-row and for Danny [Keddie] for finishing runner-up. My game feels good right now and I'm excited for the events in the near future. Hopefully, we can continue good form at the Floridian this weekend."

The Bobby Nichols victory served as a great confidence boost for Goss as a date with the 2014 Masters fast approaches. After finishing runner-up at the 2013 U.S. Amateur, Goss earned an invitation to compete in Augusta, Ga.

Senior Danny Keddie sparked the Tennessee run by carding a season-low 66 (-6) in the first round. The 6-under par tied Keddie's career-low set his freshman season at the 2011 NCAA Regional. The Englishman finished runner-up at the Bobby Nichols after carding a 213 (-3).

Senior Brandon Rodgers made a big jump on Tuesday. The 2013 Bobby Nichols champion shot a final round 70 (-2) to finish tied for sixth place.

Sophomore Chad Merzbacher finished tied for 14th after a 54-hole total of 219 (+3), while freshman Jack Smith finished tied for 19th with a 222 (+6).

Sophomore Grant Daugherty competed as an individual in Sevierville. Daugherty finished tied for 28th after carding a 225 (+9). The Alcoa native finished his third career tournament and second of the 2013-14 season.
