Second Round Play Cancelled at C&F Bank
Goss and Rodgers lead Vols at C&F Bank

March 25, 2013

UPDATE: Snowfall has yet again delayed the C&F Bank Intercollegiate.

On Monday, officials cancelled the second round of play for all teams. C&F Bank officials hope to resume play on Tuesday morning. More information will be released as it becomes available.

On Sunday, play was suspended at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.

Heavy snowfall forced officials to call play with some teams having as many as 8 holes left. Provided there is no accumulation overnight, play will resume at 7:45 a.m. ET tomorrow, March 25.

The Volunteers were one of a few teams to complete their first round of play. Tennessee currently sits tied for second place after carding a 285 (+3).

The Vols were led by Oliver Goss and Brandon Rodgers who both are tied for fifth after carding a first round 69 (-1). Goss and Rodgers are riding a great wave of momentum after each captured their first career individual championship earlier this month (Goss won the General Hackler Championship and Rodgers won the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate).

To round out the rest of the Tennessee starting five, Rick Lamb carded a 73 (+3) and is tied for 48th. Jay Vandeventer finished tied for 70th with a 74 (+4), and Thomas Dunne completed the first round tied for 95th with a 75 (+5).

Tennessee's scheduled tee time is 1:16 p.m. ET tomorrow afternoon. However, that time is subject to change.
