The Tennessee men's golf team earned the 24th seed for the NCAA Men's Golf Championships and will tee off the first round from the first tee at 7:47 a.m. on June 1, as the NCAA Men's Golf Committee announced seeding and pairings for the tournament on Tuesday.
The NCAA Championships will be held from June 1-6 at The Honors Course in Ooltewah.
The Vols qualified for their second straight national championships by tying for third at the San Diego Regional. UT will be paired with 22nd-seed North Florida and 23rd-seed Duke for the first and second rounds of the competition.
The trio will tee off the second round from Hole 10 at 12:59 p.m. on June 2.
The 30-team, six-individual field will play three rounds of stroke play with an individual champion crowned on Thursday, June 3. After 54 holes, the field is narrowed to eight teams for three days of match play competition, culminating in the national championship match on Saturday, June 6.
Oregon earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament, with Stanford, Oklahoma State, Washington and Texas rounding out the top-five.
Tennessee is one of three SEC teams in the field. Joining the Vols are Florida, seeded 13th, and LSU, seeded 28th.
