NORMAN, Okla. - The first, second, third and honorable mention PING All-America Teams were announced by the GCAA on Thursday. The list included two members from the Tennessee men's golf team.
Goss finished his first season as a Tennessee Volunteer with his first collegiate victory (General Hackler), four top-5 finishes, and a team best stroke average of 71.95. After playing just half of the season, Goss still managed to earn five postseason honors: PING All-American third team, Golfweek All-American third team, All-SEC first team, All-SEC freshman team, and PING All-Region team.
Goss is the seventh Vol to earn third-team GCAA All-American honors and the third since 2005.
Lamb finished his senior season with a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championship, back-to-back individual championships (Gifford Collegiate, SeaBest Invitational), and a team high of 15 rounds of par or better.
Lamb joins a long list of Tennessee golf honorable mention All-Americans that include such Vol legends as Jim Gallagher, Jr. (1980, 1982).
