Over the past week, former Tennessee Volunteer men's golfers have been sinking birdies across the world.
Across the pond, four former Tennessee men's golfers and one future Volunteer took part in the British Open Qualifying tournaments.
Chris Paisley, Garrick Porteous and Kristian Johannessen competed at the Gailes Links course in Scotland. Paisley finished tenth after carding 1-over par, Johannessen tied for 11th place after shooting 2-over par and Porteous was forced to withdraw from the qualifier after the first round.
The British Open Championship will start July 17 at Royal Liverpool.

Skinns, one of UT's most decorated collegiate golfers, tied for 12th place after carding 5-under par for the tournament while Pettitt tied for 46th after shooting 2-over par.
The Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank in Sandy, Utah, is the next tournament on the Web.com Tour schedule.
