Over the weekend, former Volunteer great Jim Gallagher, Jr. captured his second top-ten finish of the season.
Gallagher finished tied for the ninth at the Greater Hickory Kia Classic at Rock Barn in Conover, North Carolina. The Greenwood, Mississippi native carded rounds of 68-66-70--204 (-6). The highlight of Gallagher's weekend was a second round 66 (-4) which included six birdies.
The ninth place finish marks Gallagher's second highest finish of the 2013 PGA Champions Tour. He previously finished tied for 8th at the Toshiba Classic in March. Toshiba Recap
Gallagher is back in action next weekend (October 25) at the AT&T Championship in San Antonio, Texas.

Gallagher graduated from Tennessee in 1983 and has been playing professional golf ever since. While at UT, Gallagher was a two-time All-American.
