2001-02-- Earned his first All-America honor from his 12th place finish in the 1650 freestyle at the NCAA Championships in a personal best time of 15:09.75...Placed third in both the 500 and 1650 freestyle at the SEC Championships...Took top honors in the 500 free, 1000 free and the 200 fly in the final meet of the season against Florida...Won the 1000 freestyle against Virginia in a personal best time of 9:10.32...Had a total of six wins in dual-meet competition and compiled 75 total points, putting him in fifth place for daul-meet scoring.
