2003-04-- Earned Honorable Mention All-America
honors for his contributions on the 11th-place 400 medley relay team and the
15th-place 200 medley relay team at the NCAA Championships... Also at NCAAs,
placed 28th in the 100 fly in 54.38... At the SEC Championships, finished
eighth in the 200 fly in 1:47.62 and 12th in the 100 fly in 48.97... At
the Nike Cup Invitational, finished second in the 200 fly in 1:47.67 and fifth
in the 100 fly in 48.37... Finished second in the 200 fly against Georgia
in 2:01.90.
2002-03 -- At the Southeastern Conference Championships he finished seventh
in the 200 butterfly with personal-best time of 1:46.17...He also finaled in
the 100 butterfly with a time of 48.16 and swam a lifetime best 48.01 in the
preliminaries...At the Nike Cup Invitational he swam a 1:48.01 in the 200 butterfly
to finish second and a 49.63 in the 100 butterfly to finish 11th...Started season
with a first-place finish in the 200 butterfly against LSU...Contributed to
the Vols win over Virginia by swimming a 1:50.50 in the 200 fly.
2001-02 -- Finished 13th in the 200 butterfly at the SEC Championships in a personal best time of 1:48.70...Swam a 1:44.25 in the 200 freestyle and a 1:52.81 in the 200 butterfly at the SEC Invitational, both good for fourth place...Finished eight in the 100 fly in a time of 50.75...Competed at US Nationals and earned fourth place team honors in the men's competition.
2000-01 -- At the Princton Invitational he swam career best times in the 100 Fly and the 200 Fly, the respective times were 49.6 and 1:50.00...
Prior to UT -- Won state championship in 100 fly as a senior.. Boasts top times of 50.60 in the 100-yard fly and 56.26 in the 100-meter fly as well as 1:52.21 in the 200-yard fly and 2:04.59 in the 200-meter fly...Team finished second at YMCA Nationals...
