The Tennessee men's diving team wrapped up the NCAA Zone B Championships Sunday in Athens, Ga. The Volunteers failed to qualify any divers in the top-two spots, and thus send to the national championships.

Mike Muscari placed 16th in the platform preliminaries and advanced to 14th in the finals.

"I'm happy with Muscari's performance as he made it to 14th in the standings," UT diving coach Dave Parrington said. "He kept getting better as the meant progressed. We're obviously disappointed, however, that we had no divers move on to the NCAAs."

Junior Ryan Rincon missed out on his best event with a headache. Rincon had been awaiting clearance from team doctors before each event this weekend but unfortunately was unable to compete.

The Vols see their next action March 13-15 in the NCAA Swimming National Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
