• Made dual match career debut in singles and doubles against Murray State, winning a doubles match 8-5 with Edward Jones. His singles match was not completed.
• Part of the Vols' 8-man travel roster for the first time, joining the team for a road match at Kentucky and the SEC Tournament

SEASON RECAP

• Finished first year 4-10 in singles and 2-1 in doubles
• Won his first match as a Vol at the Elon Invitational, defeating Ed Snead of Presbyterian 6-3, 6-1
• Also played doubles for the first time at Elon. He and Taylor Patrick reached the final of the Flight B-1 competition

• Captured the Tennessee Class A-AA state singles title as a junior, becoming the first University School of Jackson player to win an individual state championship since 2000
• Also helped his school to a team title in 2009
• Named the male tennis player of the year by the Jackson Sun in 2009
• Two-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net.
