SPRING SEASON

• In second year of starting, has primarily played No. 3/4 singles
• Begin year at No. 3 doubles with Hunter Reese but is now playing with Jarryd Chaplin at No. 2
• Started the dual match season 8-0 in singles and doubles through the first 10 dual matches. Eventually ran his winning streak to a career-best 10 matches
• Earned his first career national singles ranking, rising all the way to No. 76 in early March
• Has three ranked wins including his first top-15 victory, beating No. 14 Michael Redlicki of Duke
• Has started SEC doubles play with a 5-1 record after going 1-9 last year
• Had a seven-match losing streak in singles during SEC play and missed the SEC Tournament with injury.
• Shoulder injury derailed Fickey's middle of the season, but not the finish. He returned in time for the NCAA Championships, clinching the Vols' 4-3 victory over Clemson in the second round in just his second match back. He beat Gerardo Meza 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 in the decider.
• Also provided UT a win against Mississippi State to send the Vols to the quarterfinals.

FALL SEASON

• Started the season at the Baylor HEB Invitational, reaching the third round of singles and the doubles quarterfinals
• Reached the final round of doubles qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships with Edward Jones
• Once again reached the top-flight singles final at the Tennessee Fall Invitational, where he lost to teammate Mikelis Libietis 5-6, 6-3, 6-2 in a rematch of last year's title match. Won his second career doubles title at the home, winning the top flight with Hunter Reese in their first collegiate tournament together
• Reached the third round of singles at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship.

SPRING SEASON

• Started his career playing mostly at the No. 2 position in both lineups, eventually playing No. 3 singles. Started year in doubles playing with Edward Jones but has lately been playing with Jarryd Chaplin. Moved down to the No. 3 position with Bryan Swartz
• Started dual match career off on a four-match winning streak, winning all of them in straight sets
• Moved down to the No. 3 singles position and snapped 8-match losing streak, beating No. 48 Jonas Lutjen of Ole Miss and No. 75 Malte Stropp of Mississippi State
• Ran record to 3-0 to start at the No. 3 position with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Baylor's Robert Verzaal
• Clinched the Vols' 5-2 win at Arkansas with a 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 win over Matt Walters
• Won his only completed match at the SEC Championships, beating Alabama's Jarryd Botha.

FALL SEASON

• Finished first fall season with an 8-5 record in singles and a 6-3 doubles record. His eight singles victories tied for second-most on the team
• Reached the singles final in his first career tournament, rolling to the top-flight final of the Tennessee Fall Invitational before falling to teammate Mikelis Libietis 6-3, 7-6 (2). At that same tournament, Fickey and senior Bryan Swartz won the third-flight doubles title with an 8-6 win against Hugo Klientorsky and Niklas Schroeder of Eastern Kentucky
• Reached the doubles quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships with junior Edward Jones. The two lost to second-seeded and 25th-ranked Josh MacTaggart and Stephen Vogl 8-5.

• Signed with Tennessee in November 2010 as the top-ranked player in the Volunteer State and a top-25 national blue-chip recruit by TennisRecruiting.net
• Made history by becoming the first player to win four consecutive state high school singles titles
• Led Webb School to back-to-back team championships while playing at the No. 1 position
• Played some of his senior-season matches left-handed after breaking his right hand during the season.
