SPRING SEASON

• In his second year of starting at No. 2 singles and is currently back at No. 1 doubles with Mikelis Libietis
• Captured his first collegiate singles title just days before the start of the spring season, winning the Wake Forest Spring Invitational
• Started spring on an 12-match winning streak, the best streak of any current Vol
• With 26 wins in both singles and doubles, he has surpasses his freshman totals in both
• Helped the Vols hold on for a 4-3 victory at Wake Forest, beating Amogh Prabhakar at No. 2
• Produced lightning-fast wins in the Vols' two 4-3 victories over Texas A&M. He beat Harrison Adams 6-2, 6-0 in their first meeting to close ITA National Indoors, and a month later defeated Junior Ore 6-1, 6-0 at home during SEC play
• Reunited with Libietis in the second week of SEC play after starting the year at No. 3 doubles with Brandon Fickey
• The Vol pair ended up rolling through the SEC season 10-0 at No. 1
• Ended SEC season 6-3 in singles and 11-0 in doubles
• Named to the SEC All-Tournament Team after going 2-0 in singles at No. 2 and 1-0 in doubles with Mikelis Libietis
• Reese and Libietis reached the national No. 1 ranking on April 23, becoming the fourth team in program history to reach the top of the ITA rankings.

FALL SEASON

• Opened the fall season by reaching the singles final in the 64-player draw of the Baylor HEB Intercollegiate. He beat ninth-ranked newcomer Julian Lenz of Baylor in the semifinals before losing to seventh-ranked Mate Zsiga of Baylor in the title match
• Reached the consolation semifinals of the ITA All-American Championships, picking up 2 top-50 wins along the way
• Won his third collegiate doubles title with his third partner, taking the top flight of the Tennessee Fall Invitational with Brandon Fickey. Had to withdraw after two wins in singles with a knee injury.

SPRING SEASON

• Primarily manned the No. 2 singles position and the No. 1 doubles court with Mikelis Libietis
• Was on court for two 3-3 deciding matches: he lost to Memphis to start the year but then proved to be the winning match for the Vols against Mississippi. With the match tied 3-3, Reese defeated Jonas Lutjen 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 on court 3 to clinch the Tennessee win
• Went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles at the Blue Gray Classic
• Started SEC career off the best way possible, going 2-0 in singles and doubles at Florida and South Carolina. He and Libietis won their first top-10 match together, beating eighth-ranked Nassim Slilam and Billy Federhofer of Florida 8-4
• Ran doubles winning streak to eight matches with Libietis with three wins against ranked opponents during that stretch
• Won first match at No. 2 singles against Baylor, beating No. 82 Roberto Maytin 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 in the 4-3 clincher
• Went 5-0 in singles on the road in the SEC
• Defeated No. 77 Alex Stamchev of Auburn, the best ranked win of his career
• Earned two more ranked wins at the SEC Championships, which included a match in which he fought off five match points to beat No. 77 Malte Stropp of Mississippi State
• Played in the NCAA Doubles Championships with Mikelis Libietis, losing in the opening round

FALL SEASON

• Finished first fall season going 5-2 in singles and 8-2 in doubles
• Injuries limited him to just four events during the fall, one of which he only played one match in
• Reached the quarterfinals of the Tennessee Fall Invitational to start the year and was ahead 6-4, 4-1 before rolling his ankle. Also made the semifinals of doubles before having to withdraw
• Advanced to the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, ousting fifth-seeded Charlie Baker of Vanderbilt 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the round of 32. The win over Baker, who entered the fall No. 104 nationally, was his first ranked singles victory
• Most notable performance of the fall came in doubles. He and Libietis teamed up to win the Ohio Valley Regional Championship, knocking off the top two seeds. They beat 25th-ranked Josh MacTaggart and Stephen Vogl of Indiana 8-5 in the semifinals, then defeated 19th-ranked Eric Quigley and Alex Musialek of Kentucky in the championship
• Traveled with Libietis to the 20-team field at the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, where they lost in the opening round.

SUMMER 2011

• Won the singles title at an ITA Summer Circuit event in Athens, Ga.
• Reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Summer National Championships as well
• Played final junior event of his career, reaching the round of 16 at the USTA Boys 18 National Championships.

SPRING SEASON

• Graduated early from North Cobb High School in December and redshirted for 2011 spring season
• Found time to compete on junior circuit
• Won singles title at USTA 18s National Open in Waco, Texas
• Finished third at the USTA 18s Spring National Championships in Mobile, Ala. The previous year, he had reached just the third round
• Was a doubles semifinalist at the ITF Easter Bowl
• Climbed to 11th nationally in Tennisrecruiting.net's rankings and fifth in the Southeast.

• Recruited to UT as the No. 2-ranked player from the state of Georgia by Tennisrecruiting.net
• Site also listed Reese as 21st-ranked recruit in the nation and the sixth from the Southeast region
• Led North Cobb High School to its first-ever playoff victory as a junior
• Named the Cobb County Boys Tennis Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
