Won four of his final five singles matches to finish the fall with a 6-5 record against some of the more difficult opponents he has faced in his career ... Scored a 6-0, 6-1 win against South Carolina's former No. 1 player -- now Wisconsin transfer -- Alexander Kostanov ... Best performance came at the end of the season when he reached the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships played on Tennessee's home courts ... Teamed up with Brandon Fickey to reach the quarterfinals of the Ohio Valley Regional, falling to Indiana's Josh MacTaggart and Stephen Vogl, ranked 25th nationally.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Wrapped up his first year as a starter in both singles and doubles for the Vols, going 26-17 overall in singles and 22-12 in doubles ... Played again with Matteo Fago at the No. 3 position in the doubles lineup. In two years, the duo went 7-1 in NCAA Tournament matches ... Spent a majority of the year at the No. 6 singles spot and ended the year 15-9 in dual matches, winning all 11 at home ... Still undefeated in singles at home in his career (14-0) ... Clinched the Vols' 4-3 victory against Duke to return to the finals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, beating Jared Pinsky in three sets ... Teamed up with Tennys Sandgren to win his first career doubles title, taking the top flight of the Elon Invitational ... Formed a team with Rhyne Williams at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, where they reached the semifinals in their first tournament together ... 2009-10 (Freshman)
Finished 14-10 in singles and 23-12 for the Vols in his first season of collegiate play ... Cracked the Vols' dual match lineup at the beginning of SEC play, teaming up with Matteo Fago ... Improved together as the season progressed, winning their final five matches and being named to the NCAA Championships All-Tournament Team at No. 3 doubles ... Helped the Vols win the doubles point in 32 of 33 matches in 2010 ... Entered the singles lineup at the No. 6 position against 10th-ranked Illinois and came away with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Connor Roth ...
