2004-- Made his Tennessee debut at the SEC Men's Coaches' Indoor Championships
after sitting out the 2002-03 season after transferring from the University of
Southern California ... Defeated No. 40-ranked Gabor Zoltan Pelva to reach the
round of 16 at the SEC Men's Coaches' Indoor Championships ... Led the Vols in
doubles wins (19) and doubles winning percentage (.818) ... Earned All-America
and first-team All-SEC honors for his outstanding doubles play with partner Simon
Rea, and the pair was selected to compete in the NCAA doubles championships ...
Finished the season ranked No. 10 in the ITA doubles rankings (with Rea) ... Season
totals included a 7-15 singles record and a 19-5 doubles tally.
2003 -- Transferred from the University of Southern California and sat
out the 2002-03 season under NCAA Division I transfer guidelines for student-athletes.
2002 -- (UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA): Entered his sophomore campaign ranked No. 30 (with partner Daniel Langre) in the ITA preseason doubles rankings ... Posted a 3-5 singles record in the fall with appearances at the Napa Challenge, ITA Regional Championships (where he advanced to the third round) and the SCTA Championships.
2001 -- (UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA): Joined the Trojan team in January and competed primarily at the No. 3 position and posted an 18-9 overall singles record, a team-best 18-6 mark in dual matches and a 5-4 record in PAC-10 matches ... Earned six consecutive match victories from Jan. 30 through March 6, going undefeated during the month of February ... Three of his five regular season losses were to ranked opponents ... Played two excellent singles matches in the first two rounds of the NCAAs with a match-clinching win over Virginia's Tommy Croker and a victory over Mississippi's Kristofer Stahlberg ... In doubles, played the majority of the dual matches with partner Andrew Park ... The pair compiled an 12-10 overall record primarily at the No. 2 spot.
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE--: Went undefeated at the No. 1 position
through four years of high school tennis ... Led team to the Victoria state
school championship as a freshman in 1997 ... Was ranked No. 1 among state schools
all four years .. Competed at the Australian Nationals in 16, 14 and 12-and-unders,
advancing to the semifinals in 16s and 14s and capturing the championship title
in 12s ... Earned his highest year-end ranking in 18-and-under at No. 3 .. Reached
