Lexington, Ky. The Tennessee men's tennis team got off to a good start Friday winning four first round matches at the SEC Coaches' Indoor Championships held on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
Freshman Adam Hubble won his first match as a Vol defeating Mississippi State 's Philippe Frayssinoux 6-1, 1-0 ret. Hubble meets Robbert Lathouwers of Auburn in the second round.
Sophomores Bobby Cameron and Kaden Hensel both won their first round matches. Cameron defeated Nick Lane of Auburn 7-6, 6-3. Cameron faces Mississippi State's Ivan Bjelica Saturday. Hensel won a three-set match over Georgia's Colin Purcell 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. Hensel will face off against Juan Pablo di Cesare of Ole Miss in Saturday's second round.
Senior Rawl Martin defeated James Cluskey of LSU 6-4, 6-1. Martin faces Georgia's Matic Omerzel in the second round.
Kiril Tcherveniachki lost his first round match. The doubles portion of the tournament started Friday but the results have not yet been released.
