Vols Earn 4-0 Win Against EKU

KNOXVILLE -- The Vols tied a school record with five consecutive shutouts with a 4-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Monday to start a triple header.

Tennessee breezed through doubles then won the first sets on all six courts at Goodfriend Tennis Center.

All the points in singles were won by the sophomores. Mikelis Libietis was first off the court with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Daridge Saidi on court 1. Brandon Fickey followed with the same score against Aleix Alvarez on court 4. Hunter Reese clinched the match 6-0, 6-2 against Juanjo de le Llera.

Tennessee continues with two matches against Murray State starting at 2 p.m.
