Tennessee fell to 10th-ranked Ole Miss 4-0 Friday night as Mother Nature continued to haunt the Vols as a tornado warning and other inclement weather affected a UT match for the third straight time.

Tennessee lost the doubles point for the seventh time this season. UT is 0-7 in those matches. Sophomores Bobby Cameron and Kaden Hensel won at the No. 2 position for UT defeating Juan Pablo Di Cesare and Bram ten Berge 9-8. At the No. 1 slot, UT's Adam Hubble and Ben Rogers hung tough with the nation's No. 8 doubles squad but ultimately fell to Eric Claesson and Erling Tveit 8-6. Ole Miss's Jakob Klaeson and Robbye Poole defeated UT's David Baxendine and Johnny Thornton 8-4 at the No. 3 spot.

Ole Miss (17-3, 7-2 SEC) won at No. 2,3, and 5 singles to capture the match. Tveit, the highest ranked Ole Miss player at No. 17, defeated Cameron 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 2 position. Di Cesare followed shortly with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Kiril Tcherveniachki.

Poole clinched the match for Ole Miss by defeating UT freshman Derek Stephens 6-4, 6-3.

Hensel playing at the No. 1 singles position for the first time in his career played well against Claesson, the 27th-ranked singles player in the nation. The UT sophomore won the first set and was up 2-1 in the third set when the match was suspended. Big Orange senior David Baxendine was down a set to Bram ten Berge at the No. 4 position when the match was called.

With the loss the Big Orange now have a record of 8-9 (2-7 SEC). Tennessee's winning percentage is under .500 for the first time since the end of the 2003 season.

Tennessee plays its last road contest of the season Sunday at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs have a record of 4-11 (1-8 SEC). The match will be played at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre at 1 p.m. and live results can be found at UTsports.com.
