Tennessee's men's tennis team moved up one spot to No. 16 in the second Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll of the season.

The Big Orange played twice last weekend defeating No. 73 Michigan State 5-2, and falling to No. 18 Ohio State 5-2. Both matches were played in Columbus, Ohio.

The schedule does not get any easier for the Vols as the top two teams in the nation are scheduled to make a visit to Rocky Top. The Florida Gators, the No. 1 team in the nation, travel to Knoxville to face the Vols March 10, and the Georgia Bulldogs, ranked No. 2, come to town on April 15.

The Vols have a pair of home matches scheduled for this weekend. On Saturday at 1 p.m., the Volunteers host ETSU and on Sunday at 2 p.m., Tennessee plays UNC-Greensboro.

All matches at the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Center are free and open to the public.
