ONE WILL BE THE BLUE GRAY CHAMP
In addition to playing a critical SEC match, the Vols (8-8, 1-2) and Mississippi State (11-3, 2-1) will be vying for the tournament title of the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic. Both teams went 3-0 in round robin play at the Blue Gray in Montgomery, Ala., two weeks ago.
Tennessee last won the prestigious Blue Gray title in 2009. Tournament officials will be on hand.
Last matches: Tennessee lost 5-2 to Mississippi; Mississippi State lost 4-3 to Georgia.
Up next: the Vols take a week off SEC play next weekend, hosting Baylor on Saturday at 2 p.m.
