BACK ON THE ROAD

  • The 14th-ranked Vols travel to No. 17 Florida and No. 48 South Carolina this weekend
  • It is the first road SEC weekend for Tennessee this season. The Vols went 3-3 on the road during SEC play in 2013.
  • The Vols are playing their first road matches since going 1-1 through Oklahoma, losing to Oklahoma State 4-2 on Jan. 31 and beating Tulsa 4-3 on Feb. 2.

  • The Vols and Gators went 1-1 against each other last season. Florida won the first match in Knoxville 4-3 with a decider coming down to court 6. The Vols, playing shorthanded, won the rematch 4-2 in the semifinals of the SEC Championships at Ole Miss.

  • Ever since they were freshmen, Mikelis Libietis and Hunter Reese have occupied the top spot in the Vols' SEC doubles lineup.
  • Libietis and Reese are 3-0 this season in SEC play and are now 20-4 together in their career in conference play
  • This year, the Vols' top pair is 24-3 overall this season and 13-1 in dual matches at the No. 1 position.
  • Individually, Libietis and Reese have 82 wins each. They are on the road to the top 10 on the UT career doubles list. All-American Ben Rogers (2004-07) is No. 10 with 86 wins.
