The individual championships take place May 21-26 in Athens, Ga., following the conclusion of the team tournaments.
Libietis and Reese, who have been ranked in the top two nationally in doubles all season, will be seeded No. 2 in the 32-team draw.
Libietis and Reese, the Vols' No. 1 team in dual matches the last three years, have enjoyed their best season together so far. They are 30-5 this year, including 9-1 in SEC play. Individually, the two Vols have 88 career victories with 67 coming with each other.
They had a breakthrough fall season in the national events and look to carry that confidence into their third NCAA championships. Fighting illness, they became the third team in UT history to win the doubles title at the ITA All-American Championships. A month later, they made the finals of the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.
In singles, Libietis and Reese also received invitations into the 64-player field.
Reese, currently ranked 27th, has played No. 1 in the singles lineup the last two months. He has a team-leading 25-9 record. In the fall, he won the singles title at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships.
Libietis, ranked 34th, has a 21-13 record this year. He will make his third NCAA singles appearance and his seventh consecutive appearance in a collegiate major. His best national individual performance to date is a quarterfinal showing at the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoors.
The Vols (17-10) open the NCAA tennis team championships against Elon on May 10 at 9 a.m. in Durham, N.C.
