Who's Playing?
The Vols: #15 Mikelis Libietis, #34 Hunter Reese, Brandon Fickey, Jarryd Chaplin, Edward Jones, Taylor Patrick, John Collins.

About the Tournament: This is the second-annual Tennessee Fall Invitational, bringing in many schools from around the region and beyond at the Vols' Barksdale Stadium and nearby Tyson Park.

Seven of the eight Vols on the roster will be in action this weekend, including defending top-flight singles and doubles champion Mikelis Libietis.

Libietis made his collegiate debut a memorable one a year ago at the Tennessee Fall Invitational, winning five singles matches and beating fellow then-freshman Brandon Fickey in thesingles final. He also picked up his first doubles title that day with Jarryd Chaplin.

There will be three 32-player singles draws this weekend, though the third draw features only 18 players.

Singles, Orange Flight: Libietis is one of four Vols in the 32-player top flight in singles and is the No. 1 seed. Hunter Reese is seeded No. 2, Fickey is No. 3 and Chaplin is No. 5.

Reese, whose run at last year's Tennessee Fall Invitational was cut short by an ankle injury, has been off to a fast start to his sophomore season. He leads the team with an 8-3 record with four of those wins coming against ranked opponents.

Singles, White Flight: Senior John Collins will make his home debut at Tennessee this weekend. The lefty transfer from Maryland is playing in the White flight, as are seniors Taylor Patrick and Edward Jones.

Tennessee took two doubles titles last year at the inaugural Tennessee Fall Invitational and likely would have won a third if Reese had not had to withdraw from the tournament because of injury.

In addition to Libietis and Chaplin's win in the top flight of singles, Fickey won the third flight of doubles last year with graduated senior Bryan Swartz, who will be back at Tennessee this weekend working with Winthrop's tennis program.

This weekend, there will be five doubles flights with eight teams per flight.

Doubles, Goodfriend Draw: Tennessee has two new doubles teams playing together in the Goodfriend flight. Jones and Collins, both veteran doubles players, will team up in the top half of the bracket. Reese will play with Fickey in the bottom half of the draw. While the two have not played official collegiate matches together, they did team up in the summer of 2011 for the ITA SummerCircuit.

Doubles, Smokey Draw: Chaplin and Libietis will team up for the second time this season. The two reached the quarterfinals of the ITA All-AmericanChampionships last week, picking up a top-10 victory along the way. Chaplinalready has one doubles title to his name this year, having won the Baylor HEB Intercollegiate with Jones.

Doubles, Volunteer Draw: Because of an odd number of Vols, Patrick will play doubles with Xavier's Robert Torsch this weekend.
