Tennessee men???s head tennis coach Sam Winterbotham announced Tuesday that Bryan Swartz has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of Tennessee and play for the Volunteers.

???Bryan is one of the best US juniors in the nation and (associate head coach) Chris (Woodruff) and I are really excited about him joining our program,??? ???I picked Tennessee because I think the coaches there are great and they are going to help take my game to the next level,??? Swartz said. ???I want to improve as much as possible and help Tennessee win a national title.???

Swartz will join the Tennessee tennis team in August 2008 and plans on studying Business while at UT.
