HIGH SCHOOL: Was named the 2010-11 Gatorade Tennessee Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year and 2011 Midstate Track Athlete of the Year...Was triple jump champion at the 2011 Class AAA state meet despite jumping with an injured hamstring...Took second in long jump at the same meet and fourth in both the 100m and 200m...Set a state record in the Boston-Moon Classic with a 24-8.75 mark in the long jump...Charted a 200m PR of 21.49 in taking second at the Volunteer Track Classic...Ran a wind-aided 21.39 en route to a 200m victory at the Great Eight meet...Played football two seasons at Hillsboro along with Vol defensive back Eric Gordon, helping HHS to a 2008 state championship.
