TENNESSEE: After transferring from Lenoir-Rhyne, competed unattached at the USA Junior Championships during summer 2011, placing fifth in the discus with a toss of 178-3 in Eugene, Ore.

LENOIR-RHYNE: Was a scholarship football player for the Bears during the 2010 season and was on the 2011 track team as an unattached competitor before transferring to Tennessee to devote total focus on his throwing career...Also competed unattached on the track team for the Bears, uncorking a toss of 173-10 on his third attempt to win the discus throw at the 2011 Raleigh Relays...That effort cemented his desire to pursue a throwing career at an NCAA Division I institution.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the 2010 AAU Junior Olympics national champion in the discus with a career-best throw of 191-2...Competed at the 2010 N.C.
