2001-Outdoor- A key cog in the Vol distance corps ... Finished the year as Tennessee's top steeplechaser for 2001 with his PR of 9:01.01 at the SEC Outdoors (May 12) to take fourth en route to the Vol team title ... Took bronze with his personal-best 1,500m run of 3:55.92 at the Spring Gobbler Invitational (April 21) at Virginia Tech ... Clocked in at 3:59.25 to earn seventh in the 1,500m run at the Gatorade Track Classic in Knoxville ... Doubled to earn extra points for the Vols at the SEC Quad in Starkville, Miss., with a fourth-place, 4:03.46 effort in the 1,500m run and third-place, 8:48.59 time in the 3,000m run.

Advanced to the NCAA Championships as an individual, running to 191st in 31:38.5 on a frigid day in Cedar Fall, Iowa ... Wrote his ticket for his third-consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships, the best streak on the team, with a seventh-place, 30:29.58 effort at the NCAA South Regional (Nov. 15) to earn All-Region honors ...
