2006-Outdoor- Ran the second leg on UT's shuttle hurdle relay, helping the Vols claim their fourth-straight victory at the Sea Ray Relays (April 15) ... Ran the third leg on Tennessee's shuttle hurdle relay at Penn Relays, where the Vols won their second-straight and 15th overall title in the event ... Tennessee's time of 55.87 from the Penn Relays was the fastest collegiate shuttle hurdle relay time of the year ... Lyles finished sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 47-11 3/4 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (April 1) ... Finished 11th in the college section at the Penn Relays, recording a 44-3 1/2 measurement in the triple jump (April 29) ... Finished 16th in the triple jump with an outdoor-season-best mark of 48-8 at the Sea Ray Relays (April 14) ... 2005-Indoor and Outdoor- Sat out season after transferring from Murray State ... Achieved his career-best triple jump mark of 49-9 1/4 to win the Tennessee Classic (Feb. 18) while competing unattached in the indoor season.


Began collegiate career at Alabama in 2003 before transferring and using his redshirt season in 2004 at Murray State, training under current Tennessee assistant coach Norbert Elliott ... Competed in both the SEC indoor and outdoor championships at Alabama ... During redshirt year at Murray State, under Elliott's direction, Lyles added five-feet to his triple jump PR and sliced 2.5 seconds from his 400 hurdles time ... Finished with bests of 49-6 in the triple jump and 53.01 in the 400 hurdles at Murray State ... Began triple jumping as a junior at Stephenson High and placed sixth at the 2001 Georgia state high school meet ...
