2009: Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...Redshirted outdoors due to injury and did not compete...Competed at the SEC Indoor Championships in the weight throw, finishing 10th with a career-best toss of 60-1...That mark moved him to tenth on the UT all-time list...Finished seventh with a mark of 59-2 in the weight throw at the New Balance Invitational...Also placed seventh at the Wesley A. Brown Invite with a mark of 55-5...Placed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 59-6.75...Named John Stucky Lifter of the Year at the team banquet.
