2004 Outdoor: Major- Sociology. Won Most Valuable Athlete (field) Award at team banquet ... Talented and versatile thrower led the squad for the season in the shot put, discus and hammer ... Put on a show for the home fans with his 206-0 hammer mark, the second-best ever by a Vol, to take eighth in the invitational section at the Sea Ray Relays (April 9) ... Personal-best 206-0 hammer mark missed the cutoff for an at-large berth to the NCAA outdoor championships by only two inches ... Notched the eighth-best shot put in Tennessee school history with a lifetime-best 60-5 3/4 effort to place sixth at the NCAA Mideast Regional (May 28) ... Finished as Tennessee's high scorer at the SEC indoors with 11 points ... Placed 10th with a mark of 65-6 in the weight throw at the NCAA indoor championships ... Transferred from Barton County Community College ... Won three junior college championships in 2003 ...
