Also ran a 1:52.53 to finish 20th in the 800 prelims at the SEC outdoors ... Finished seventh in the 800 at the Gatorade Classic after completing two laps in 1:51.99 ... 2004-Outdoor- Ran his fastest 800 of the year in 1:52.89 to grab eighth place at Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Invitational (April 3) ... Assigned the second leg on Tennessee's winning 4x800 relay which finished in 7:25.43 at the Sea Ray Relays (April 10) ... Also ran a 1:55.07 in the 800 at Sea Rays ...Assigned the third leg on Tennessee's 11th-place, 7:31.75 4x800 relay effort at the Penn Relays ... Ran the lead leg on Tennessee's unconventional 4x400 relay comprised of four 800 runners which won in 3:17.37 at the Gatorade Classic ... Also finished seventh in the 800 with a time of 1:55.15 at the Gatorade Classic.

2004-Indoor- Posted his season-best 800 time of 1:55.41 to capture bronze honors at the Virginia Tech Invitational (Jan. 24) ... Finished eighth in the 1,000 with a 2:32.58 time at the Virginia Tech Invitational ... Opened his season with a 1:55.88 time in the 800 to take 12th at the Kentucky Invitational ... Finished 14th with a 4:23.73 effort in the mile at Kentucky's McCravy Memorial.

2003-Outdoor- Followed the Volunteer directive to peak in the postseason, cutting nearly two seconds off his 800 lifetime-best effort to run a 1:51.54 in the SEC outdoor prelims (May 16) ... Rang up another personal best the next day with a 3:54.17 to place 14th in the 1,500 prelims at the SEC outdoors (May 17) ... Ran the third leg on Tennessee's winning distance medley relay (9:54.18) and took the second leg on the fourth-place 4x1,500 relay (16:20.96) to open his outdoor season at the Florida State Relays ... Ran the 800 in 1:54.49 at the Florida Relays ... Sliced his two-lap time to 1:53.80 to earn fifth in the 800 and took sixth in the 1,500 with a time of 3:59.91, playing a crucial role in securing Tennessee's one-point team win at the SEC Triangular in Columbia, S.C. ... Ran a 1:53.93 in the 800 and assisted the Tennessee 4x800 relay to a 7:28.04 victory by running the second leg at the Sea Ray Relays ... Ran the squad's fastest 1,000 in 2:30.84 to earn ninth and establish his PR at Virginia Tech's Kroger Invitational (Jan. 17) ... Ran the third leg on Tennessee's eighth-place, 3:19.49 4x400 relay effort at the Kroger Invitational ... Led off Tennessee's winning distance medley relay (10:14.21) and posted his lifetime-best mile effort (4:20.32) to place 10th and help Tennessee take the SEC East Challenge title (Jan. 25) ... Led off Tennessee's second-fastest distance medley relay effort of the season, a fifth-place, 10:04.18 timing, at the Armory Invitational (Feb. 14), while also clocking a 4:21.56 mile the next day at the meet.

2002-Indoor- Competed in the Cannon IV Classic in Indianapolis, Ind., running the mile in 4:22.50 to garner 10th (Feb. 9) ... Clocked in at 4:33.02 in the mile at Virginia Tech's Kroger Invitational.

Cross Country 2005- Lettered after running in four races ... Finished 22nd with a 16:08 time to open the season at the 5K Chattanooga Invitational ... Finished 66th at the SEC championship after covering the 7.9K course in 25:42.84 ... Finished 71st with a 26:12.56 time at the 8K Greater Louisville Classic (gold race) ... Took 92nd in the open race with a time of 26:47.7 at the 8K Pre-Nationals Invitational.

Cross Country 2004- Ran in three races and scored in one for the Vols ... Helped Tennessee to the team victory by contributing a 10th-place, fifth among Vols, 25:29.74 finish at the 7.8K Virginia Tech Invitational ... Finished 16th in the 8K Tennessee Invitational with a 27:50.99 time ... Opened the season with a 23rd-place, 27:36.19 finish at the five-mile Western Kentucky Old Timers Classic.

Cross Country 2003- Ran in two races for the Vols ... Posted his best finish, 11th, at the Tennessee adidas Invitational, courtesy of a 29:20.97 time to open the season ... Slicing a whopping amount of time off, Schappert ran to his season-best clocking of 26:45.15 to place 42nd, ninth among Vols, in Tennessee's winning effort at Louisville's Cardinal Classic.

Cross Country 2002- Squad member ... Ran to a fourth-place finish in 26:48.2 competing unattached at the 8K Tennessee Invitational.

Cross Country 2001- Finished 128th in 27:07.65 at the Auburn Invitational.
