Cleared the bar at his personal-best height of 16-0 3/4 to finish third in the open section while competing unattached at the Sea Ray Relays (April 11) ... Cleared 15-1 and placed ninth in the pole vault while competing unattached at the Vanderbilt Invitational (April 18).

2008 Indoor-Redshirted ... Recorded his season-best clearance of 15-6 1/4 and finished 16th in the pole vault while competing unattached at the Virginia Tech Challenge (Feb. 22) ...
