2007: Won Most Valuable Freshman Award at team banquet...Authored one of the best freshman sprint seasons in school history...Advanced to the USA Outdoor Championships, where he and teammate Rubin Williams were the only two collegiate runners to advance to the semifinals in the 200m...Earned All-America honors while running the second leg on Tennessee's third-place 4x100m relay at the NCAA Outdoor Championships...The quartet's time of 38.86 ranks fourth on Tennessee's all-time performance list in the event...Also ran to All-America acclaim in the 200m, as he crossed the finish line fifth with a time of 21.03...Took the baton for the second leg on Tennessee's 4x100m relay team that broke the Audrey J. HIGH SCHOOL: Named Athlete of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution...Named to the All-USA Boys High School Track Team by USA Today...Won the 100m and 200m double at the 2006 state championship meet, along with finishing third in the long jump, and led his team to a fourth-place finish in Class AAAA...His winning times of 10.70 and 21.28 were the fastest of any class at the state championships...Won the 100m and 200m at the USA Youth Outdoor Track & Field...Finished second while running the first leg of the 4x100m for the U.S. Junior National Team at the 2006 IAAF World Junior Championships in Beijing.
