Tennessee Relays powered by Sea Ray
Track Renovations Extend Through Spring
With continued renovations, Tom Black Track will not host any events this spring and the venue is closed to the public
The renovation of Tom Black Track will continue throughout the spring semester. This will result in the inability for the venue to host any meets this spring, including the Tennessee Relays powered by Sea Ray in April and the Tennessee Challenge in May.
The Tennessee track and field team will be able to practice at Tom Black Track during the renovations. The use of temporary runways and the relocation of some event space will satisfy practice needs.
Tom Black Track will not be available for public use until construction is complete. The renovation project will continue with a reconfigured and resurfaced track as well as a team building. This will result in the completion of both Phase I and Phase II of the project.
The Tennessee Athletic Department will announce Tom Black Track's re-opening for public use when the project is completed, which will most likely occur in the fall of 2016.
Be advised that parking on campus is limited. If you are parked in areas other than those designated for your use, you will be subject to citations.
Buses must park on Volunteer Blvd. in the bagged meter spaces.
