AS A JUNIOR (2002-03): As a junior, Ashley played in 37 games and earned 30 starting nods...Turned in 5.8 ppg and 5.4 rpg while averaging 22 minutes per game...Led the team in blocked shots with 63 swats on the season...Ranked third in the SEC...Hammered Alabama for five blocks, establishing a new career high...Finished the season in fifth place on the Lady Vol All-Time blocked shot list...Tallied seven games of double-digit scoring and three games of double-figure rebounding...Had a five-game stretch in January beginning with the contest at Connecticut where she averaged 12.2 ppg and 6.1 rpg...In fact, her season high of 15 points came against the Huskies in the overtime loss at Hartford... In the preseason, Ashley underwent a successful scar tissue debridement of her left knee...The arthroscopic surgery was performed to clean up existing scar tissue from the ACL injury that she suffered on June 30, 2001...

AS A SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Ashley missed the first seven games of the 2001-02 season after recovering from ACL surgery in July 2001...She played in 26 games and earned six starting assignments from late January until mid-February...The big center averaged 4.7 ppg and 2.6 rpg while logging 14.5 minutes per game...Turned in three games of double-digit scoring...Turned in her most complete game of the regular season against LSU scoring 10 points, grabbing four rebounds, claiming three steals and adding two blocks and two assists...With 16 blocked shots as a sophomore, she now ranks 13th all-time in Lady Vol history in blocked shots with 67... As preseason drills started for the 2001-02 season, Ashley continued to recover from surgery on July 12, 2001, to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee suffered on June 30... The big center from Texas injured the knee while participating in a three-on-three drill at camp... Prior to her injury, Ashley had spent a great deal of time working out and in the weight room getting ready for her sophomore campaign... Several preseason publications gave her a nod on its All-America lists for the coming season...Changed her number to 33 for her sophomore season... Wore number 43 as a rookie...

AS A FRESHMAN (2000-01): Ashley joined a very exclusive club of Lady Vol rookies when she started her very first collegiate contest against DePaul... On the season, she played in all 34 games and earned nine starts while averaging 8.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg...Scored in double figures in 17 outings... Registered a career-high 17 points on the road at #6/9 Florida and against Austin Peay in the NCAA Tournament ...Snagged a career high 11 rebounds against St Mary's in the second round of the NCAA Tourney... A versatile post, she dished out three scoring passes on several occasions... Was credited for a career-high four steals against Wisconsin... She rejected five shots against Stanford for a career highwater mark... Led the team in blocked shots with 51 which is seventh place on the all-time UT single season blocked shots list...Blocked at least one shot in 24 of her 34 games as a rookie... After just one season, she ranked 15th on the Lady Vol all-time career list for blocked shots... Ashley was UT's leading scorer in three games and leading rebounder in five contests...A cool customer under pressure, the rookie sank two big charity tosses with three seconds to go in UT's 92-88 victory over Connecticut in Knoxville...Led team in NCAA Tournament play in field goals (19-37), rebounds (25), blocked shots (five)...Was Tennessee's leading scorer in the NCAA Tournament with 44 points and an average of 14.7 ppg... She was a unanimous selection to the five-player SEC All-Freshman Team...Named an honorable mention choice for All-SEC by the Associated Press...Selected by the Women's Basketball Journal as a first team member of its Freshman All-America Team.

NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL: She was a member of the 2000 United States Women's Junior World Championship Qualifying Team, where she was the team's fifth leading scorer, third-leading rebounder and top shot blocker at the COPABA Women's Junior World Championship Qualifying Tournament, July 26-30, 2000...Averaged 8.4 points and 5.2 boards per game while swatting away 10 shots as her U.S. squad won five games in five days to take the gold medal in Mar Del Plata, Argentina...Participated in AAU basketball on local and national levels for the Texas Freedom, being named MVP of the SWAAU Regional Championship and leading her squad to a third-place finish at the AAU National Championships in 1999.

PERSONAL: Ashley is majoring in public relations at Tennessee...Involved in community affairs at home, Ashley was a member of the Student Empowerment Team (SET) and Students Gaining Power (SGP), where she served as a role model for youth and in helping better her school...She was a member of the National Honor Society at South Grand Prairie High School...Lists former Lady Vol standout and 2000 Naismith Player of the Year Tamika Catchings as her biggest sports influence...Ashley is the middle of two sisters - Rashonda, 24, and a younger sister, Katrina, 18, a freshman at the University of Texas...Ashley Khristina Robinson was born on Aug. 12, 1982...Her parents are Kenneth and Kathleen Robinson.
