11: The game featured 11 tie scores, including a tie going into the locker room. Tennessee has gone to intermission tied three times in 2011-12.

15: The victory over the Lady Tigers pushes Pat Summitt closer to her next win plateau. Fifteen more wins will put Summitt at her next victory milestone: 1,100 wins.

28: The win continues the streak of UT's recent successes at home in the Southeastern Conference. The Lady Vols have won 28 consecutive SEC games in TBA.

• Today's starters: senior Glory Johnson, senior Alicia Manning, senior Vicki Baugh, sophomore Meighan Simmons and freshman Ariel Massengale.
• This is the first in which the Lady Vols have taken to the court with this starting five. They sport a 1-0 record with those five lining up for the opening tip.

Stricklen Start Streak
• Lady Vol senior Shekinna Stricklen did not start against LSU after suffering a knee sprain against Vanderbilt (1/15). Until tonight, she had started 121 consecutive games for UT.

Familiar Faces
• First year LSU head coach Nikki Caldwell played for the Lady Vols (1990-94) and was a member of the 1991 NCAA Championship team. She played her prep days at nearby Oak Ridge High School.
• Lady Tiger assistant Tasha Butts is also in her first year at LSU. She donned the Orange and White from 2000-2004.

A Staffer Has, But Never a Player
• Summitt has faced many former players and assistant coaches through the years as opposing head coaches, but no former Lady Vol player has ever knocked off her mentor.
Nikki Caldwell is now 0-2 versus Summitt as a head coach, first losing at UT 61- 47 while the skipper at UCLA Nov. 28, 2009.

The SEC Backs Pat
• This week the Southeastern Conference in cooperation with its 12 member institutions are sponsoring a week-long initiative focused on bringing awareness and recognition to the Pat Summitt Foundation Fund.

Injury Report
• Senior Glory Johnson left the game in the first half after leaving the floor injuring her shoulder.
• She returned in the second half and played 24 minutes in the win.

Chalk Talk
At the Half

• The Lady Vols and the Lady Tigers were tied at halftime for the third time this season. They have led in 13 games and trailed in the other two contests.
• Tennessee is now 2-1 when they lead going into the locker room.

Points in the Paint
• After coming up with 46 paint points against Vanderbilt, the Lady Vols were held to 20 points of paint scoring against LSU.
• Coming into tonight's game, Tennessee averaged 32.2 points in the paint per contest.

Free Throw Woes
• UT posted a 56.7% effort from the free throw line, hitting 17 of 30 shots from the charity stripe against the Lady Tigers.
• The Lady Vols' season low free throw percentage came in the loss at Virginia (11/20), when they shot 52.4% from the line.

Sweet Swipes
• Tennessee came up with 13 steals in the contest, three shy of the Lady Vol season high of 16 swipes set versus ODU (12/28).
• UT came up with 14 points off turnovers.

Simmons Shows How to Score

• The Lady Vol sophomore led UT in scoring with 19 points against LSU -- one point shy of her season and SEC high performances.
• She tied her best rebound mark in SEC games with five boards against LSU.

Big Game for Burdick
• Playing a career-high 31 minutes against LSU, Burdick tied her career best in scoring with 15 points against the Lady Tigers on 5-10 shooting (previously vs. DePaul, 12/11).
• Burdick topped her own mark for boards in SEC games with six rebounds in the win (previously two at Arkansas, 1/8).
• She was named AutoZone Player of the Game for her efforts.

Baugh on the Boards
• Baugh set a season best and personal SEC best mark with 14 rebounds against LSU. The last time she picked up double digit rebounds in a conference games was 2/3/08 vs. Kentucky.

TBA - The Place to Play
Hot at Home

• TBA has been a tough place for conference opponents to snag a win. The Lady Vols have won 28 consecutive SEC games played in Thompson-Boling Arena.
• TBA is still the toughest women's basketball arena in the nation to secure a win. The Lady Vols have fashioned a 350-21 (.943) all-time record on their home court.

Approaching 1,100 Wins

• Fifteen more wins will put Summitt at her next victory milestone: 1,100 wins.

Up Next
• The Lady Vols are on the road for three consecutive games at No. 2 Notre Dame, at Alabama and at Georgia.
