BY THE NUMBERS
4 Four Lady Vols put up double-digit scoring efforts in the win over Auburn: Johnson (14), Massengale (14), Simmons (13) and Stricklen (11).

The Series
• With the win Tennessee improves to 36-10 in the all-time series versus Auburn dating back to the 1978-79 season.

• Tennessee had claimed 28 of the last 31 games with the Tigers, completing the regular season sweep of Auburn with today's victory.

• The Lady Vols' have now won 14 consecutive home contests over Auburn; Tennessee has won every game since 1989 in Knoxville.

For Starters
• Today's starters: Ariel Massengale, Meighan Simmons, Alicia Manning, Shekinna Stricklen and Glory Johnson.

• After getting a feel for thee new lineup combinations, the Lady Vols returned to this starting five. These starters lined up for the opening tip of games 11-17 and game 19 -- including the Jan. 1 win at Auburn (game 12).

• This is the ninth game with these five lining up for the opening tip. The Lady Vols are now 7-2 sporting this lineup combination.

Familiar Faces
• Lady Vol Olympian Carla McGhee (1986-90) now serves as an assistant under Nell Fortner at Auburn.

• McGhee played at Tennessee with current UT Director of Character Development Daedra Charles-Furlow, who coached at Auburn from 2006-08 before returning to Rocky Top.

Wouldn't You Like to Know
At the Half
• The Lady Vols led Auburn at halftime, 44-31. Tennessee has led at the half of 16 contests. The Lady Vols have trailed at intermission of four games and has been tied in the other three contests.

• Tennessee is now 15-1 when they lead going into the locker room, with the lone loss coming to Baylor (11/27).

All Aboard
• Freshman Isabelle Harrison checked in at the 7:35 mark in the second half, rounding out Tennessee participation versus Auburn.

• All 11 Lady Vols saw action for only the second time this season in the win over Auburn. All 11 UT players saw the floor at Notre Dame (1/23).

Smooth Criminals Return
• After failing to record a steal in Thursday's loss to South Carolina, the Lady Vols recorded 13 swipes in the win over Auburn.

• Tennessee's season-best steal performance came in the win over Old Dominion (12/28) when they tallied 16 takeaways.

Double the Fun
• Four Lady Vols put up double-digit scoring efforts in the win over Auburn: Johnson (14), Massengale (14), Simmons (13) and Stricklen (11).

• Johnson and Stricklen each contributed double-doubles in the win. Johnson pulled down 11 boards in 35 minutes while Stricklen grabbed 10 rebounds.

Still Thirsty for Threes
• UT continued to struggle from beyond the arc versus Auburn. They went 3-13 (23.1%) from three in the win, including a 2-11 (18.2%) performance in the first half.

• The Lady Vols were 1-8 from three in the loss to South Carolina (12.5%). The season low mark for treys occurred when Tennessee failed to hit a three-pointer versus DePaul.

Living in the Paint
• Tennessee lived in the paint against Auburn, scoring 52 of its 82 points (63.4%) in the paint in the win.

• The Lady Vols tallied 16 fast break points as compared to four fast break points for Auburn.

Lady Vols Bounce Back
• Tennessee bounced back from Thursday's home loss to South Carolina with the win over Auburn.

• UT is scoring 79.8 points per game in Thompson-Boling Arena while only allowing 57.4 points per game to their opponents -- a 22.4 Lady Vol scoring advantage.

• TBA is still the toughest women's basketball arena in the nation to secure a win. The Lady Vols have fashioned a 351-22 (.941) all-time record on their home court.

• Twelve more wins will put Pat Summitt at her next victory milestone: 1,100 wins.

Glory, Glory - Look Who's Boarding
Glory Johnson is currently second on the all-time rebounding list with 1,082 boards.

• She needs 214 rebounds to catch program leader Chamique Holdsclaw, who pulled down 1,295 rebounds in her Lady Vol career.

Massengale Dishes `Em
• With four assists versus Auburn, freshman point guard Ariel Massengale neared the rookie assist mark.

• She is 29 assists shy of the Lady Vol record for assists in a season by a freshman. Loree Moore dished out 133 helpers for Tennessee in 2001-02.
