(opening remarks) "I thought in the second half, we were as efficient as we have been at anytime this season. We were taking care of the basketball and getting really unselfish play. We did a better job of running the ball in transition."

(on what precipitated the improved play in the second half) "I don't know. We weren't happy at halftime. We had 16 turnovers in the first half and only three for much of the second half. We had done a poor job in our transition defense (in the first half). Our play off the bench was unacceptable. I can address it at halftime. I always address it halftime, but they turned the heat up defensively (in the second half). That gave us more opportunities to run the basketball."

(on Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood) "She had some swelling in her knee. She sat out in practice Saturday, and Jenny (Moshak) decided to hold her out."

(on whether this was the most complete game this season for Dominique Redding) "Without question. I think the biggest thing is the improvement in her tempo. Her defensive position is better. She did a good job on the defensive boards. When Dominique came out of high school, I never doubted that she could score, but that was it. She is developing into a more complete player. I credit her for her work in the summer. She can be a difference-maker for us."

(on Thursday's game against LSU) "We'll prepare on Monday, take Tuesday off, and then prepare on Wednesday."

(on Ole Miss' rebounding) "They came in at +7 on the boards, the best in the league. We take a lot of pride in being the best in the league in rebounding. Rebounding has been a trademark of this program."

(on Tennessee's three point shooting) "I wasn't comfortable in the first half when we had 16 attempts. We didn't go inside. We give our three-point shooters the green light. Brittany (Jackson) and Shanna (Zolman)-I don't want to second-guess them, but we want to go inside and reverse the ball."

(on the difference in turnovers from the first half to the second half) "In the first half, we were playing fast. We were playing careless. In the second half, we were still playing fast, but we took pride in taking care of the ball. In the first half, we had three-second calls. In the second half, we really moved the ball. We got looks."

JUNIOR Shanna Zolman:

(on the game) "We really focused at halftime on getting the ball inside. We did a lot of jump shooting, but in the second half we were able to get inside. We had great ball movement as well."

(on Thursday's game against LSU) "It's going to be a battle. It's going to be a dogfight right until the end, especially playing on their floor. We have to bring our defense and rebounding. It's going to be very difficult, but we are looking forward to it."

(on Tennessee's transition game) "It gives us a lot of confidence. Being able to convert and execute, but most importantly being able to rebound and run. It's a lot of fun to run and get points like that."

(on Alexis Hornbuckle) "She did a very good job tonight obviously. Any time you get seven assists means you are looking for others. She also did a really good job at denying No. 11 (Carletta Brown) the ball. She played very well for us tonight."

SENIOR Shyra Ely:

(on what head coach Pat Summitt said at halftime) "She was happy. The first thing she wrote on the board was to take care of the ball and get it inside. We felt we were pretty efficient in the second half."

(on Tennessee's transition offense) "We haven't done enough of it. Our transition game is probably one of our bigger strengths. It makes games fun."

(on the alley-oop to Alexis Hornbuckle) "I just threw it up there, and I'm glad she caught it."

SENIOR Brittany Jackson:

(on the game) "I think it was just like what Shanna (Zolman) said - we had good ball movement. We shot the ball very well tonight. Everybody was moving the ball, and they shot very well."

(on the game) "Obviously, for us it was a little tough. It's one thing to get beat, but we got taken to the outhouse. It didn't feel good. You have to give Tennessee credit. We made our stand late in the first half, but they came out in the second half and really played well. They really involved the fans, and that isn't the environment you want to get into. They played really, really great. We have a little bit of a break, which we sorely need."

(on Tennessee's transition offense) "We had moments where we were a little bit more physical on the defensive end, but Tennessee penalizes you greatly for bad offense, as great teams do. We had a bad stretch of not having good offense, and that let them get their transition game going. Like great players, they feel like everything they are going to shoot is going to go in. It felt like that today. You have to give them credit."

"We tried to make a run but before we could make it a game they came out in the second half really aggressive."
