Absent Behind the Arc
Tennessee struggled from three-point range versus the Lady Bulldogs, going 1-of-9 (11.1 percent) from downtown in the win. The Lady Vols' first trey of the contest came at the 11:20 mark in the second half from Shekinna Stricklen.
UT struggled from beyond the arc versus Auburn and South Carolina; the Lady Vols were 3-of-13 (23.1 percent) from three in the win over Auburn and 1-of-8 from three in the loss to South Carolina (12.5 percent).
Lights Out Off the Bench
The Lady Vol bench was lights out in the first half with Williams, Burdick and Baugh combining for a perfect 6-of-6 showing from the floor.
Tennessee's bench contributed 20 points in the win while Mississippi State's bench was held scoreless.

Tennessee dominated the boards versus Mississippi State, winning the board game 59-37. UT's 59 boards were a season-high, surpassing its 56-rebound effort vs. Baylor (11/27).

Glory, Glory - Look Who's Boarding
Glory Johnson is currently second on the all-time rebounding list with 1,108 boards. With tonight's boarding effort, the senior forward surpassed the 1,100 rebound plateau.
Her 15 rebounds tonight are a season-high for the senior as she tallied 14 at Arkansas (1/8). Her career-best mark is 18 rebounds which came versus Mississippi State last season (1/23/11).
She needs 188 rebounds to catch program leader Chamique Holdsclaw, who pulled down 1,295 rebounds in her Lady Vol career.
Massengale Dishes `Em
With one assist at Mississippi State, freshman point guard Ariel Massengale neared the rookie assist mark.
She is 14 assists shy of the Lady Vol record for assists in a season by a freshman. Loree Moore dished out 133 helpers for Tennessee in 2001-02.
Simmons So Close
Sophomore Meighan Simmons needs six points to join the 800-point club in just her second year with the Lady Vols.
UT continues its visit to the Magnolia State with the Lady Vols' last regular season road contest at Ole Miss (2/19).
