Tennessee Game Notes: vs. Kentucky, February 25, 2010, Game #28 - 26-2, 14-1 SEC

Notes...
• With the win, Tennessee claims its 15th SEC regular season crown, its first since 2007
• Tonight's starters: junior Angie Bjorklund, sophomores Kelley Cain, Glory Johnson, Alicia Manning and Shekinna Stricklen
• Five Lady Vols scored in double figures: Cain (14), Johnson (13), Bjorklund (12), Stricklen (12) and Brewer (10)
• UT's 15 blocks are a new school record; the previous was 14 set on Monday against LSU
• Manning recorded a career high with 11 rebounds
• Tennessee held Kentucky without a field goal for 6:15 (17:32 to 11:17) and turned a 9-4 lead into a 20-6 advantage
• UT ran off a 13-0 stretch from 9:12 to 5:21 to build a 37-16 lead
• UT's largest lead of the first half was 21 (37-16) at 5:36; UK never led
• Tennessee never trailed in the first half for the seventh time this season
• Tennessee led at the half for the 21st time this season; in those games UT is 21-0
• UT outscored UK 36-34 in the second half
• Tennessee scored 80 points for the ninth time this season; in those games, UT is 9-0
• Tennessee outrebounded Kentucky, 45-37; it is the 26th time this season UT has won the battle of the boards
• Tennessee outscored UK 36-26 in the paint; The UT bench outscored the UK bench 26-8
• The Lady Vols made a three-pointer for the 401st consecutive game
• Tonight's attendance was 12,100
• The Lady Vols will host Ole Miss in their final regular-season contest on Sunday, Feb. 28. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at Thompson-Boling Arena with ESPNU carrying the action to a national television audience.

Sophomore Kelley Cain:
Finished with 14 points, seven blocks and six rebounds in only 19 minutes
Tallied her 25th career double figure scoring game
Is in sixth place in the UT record books with 147 career blocks; Nicky Anosike is fifth with 161
Is second in the UT single season record books with 98 blocks; Candace Parker is first with 99

Sophomore Glory Johnson:
Had the first basket of the game - a layup on a Bjorklund assist at the 19:32 mark
Finished with 13 points and eight rebounds
Posted her 32nd career double digit scoring effort
Named Lady Vol Player of the Game

Sophomore Alicia Manning:
Finished with 11 rebounds, four points and two assists
Finished with a career-best 11 rebounds; it is her first career double digit rebounding effort

Sophomore Shekinna Stricklen:
Finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists
Finished with her 40th career double digit scoring game, including 24 of her last 32 games

Junior Angie Bjorklund:
Tallied 12 points and two assists
Tallied her 53rd career double figure scoring effort
She now has 1,069 career points
Is in third place in the UT annals with 215 career three pointers made; Kara Lawson is second with 256
Is in second place in the UT single season records with 85 threes on the year; Shanna Zolman is first with 103
