Numbers of Interest
4: The win over UT Martin pulls head coach Pat Summitt closer to her next win plateau. Four more wins will put her at the 1,100-win milestone.

8: Tennessee matched a season low with eight turnovers. The Lady Vols also turned it over just eight times at Alabama (Jan. 26).

22: Tennessee has now won the last 22 games in which it take the lead into intermission. UT boasts a 23-1 record in all games leading at the half this season.

In the NCAA Tourney

• The Lady Vol program stands alone as the only team in the country to be selected to every NCAA Tournament there has been -- a total of 31 trips. UT has also played in more tournament games than any other team, totaling 132 contests.
• Tennessee-Martin is the Lady Vols' 74th different opponent in the NCAA Tournament.
• UT has an all-time record of 110-22 in the NCAA Tournament, including eight national titles.

In the First Round
• Tennessee is 24-1 all time in the NCAA Tournament's first round with the lone loss coming in the 2009 postseason to Ball State.
• Coming into today's game, Tennessee had scored an average of 37.4 more points than its first round opponents. The Lady Vols won today's game by a margin of 23 points.

To Note
The Series

• With the win, Tennessee improves to 14-2 in the all-time series versus Tennessee-Martin dating back to the 1971 season.
• Tennessee is now 6-0 in postseason meetings with UTM. The first five postseason meetings in the series were in Tennessee College Women's Sport Federation (TCWSF) competition.
• With the victory, Tennessee continues its recent winning ways over the Skyhawks. The Lady Vols have won the last 14 consecutive meetings in the series with the last contest after dropping the series' first two games.
• The last time Tennessee-Martin claimed a victory in the series, UT head coach Pat Summitt played for UTM.

For Starters
• Today's starters -- the senior class: Briana Bass, Alicia Manning, Glory Johnson, Shekinna Stricklen and Vicki Baugh.
• This is the fifth consecutive game with these five lining up for the opening tip dating back to senior day (February 26).
• The Lady Vols are now 5-0 sporting this lineup combination.
• These starters lined up for the opening tip of the Lady Vols' Senior Day win over Florida (2/26) and all three wins in the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

Home Sweet Home to Pat
• Then Patricia Head, Summitt lettered at UT Martin from 1970-74 where she led the squad to a 62-15 record over her four years.
• She was distinguished as the first women's basketball player to have her number retired and was also honored as the Skyhawks' home floor was named in her honor in 1997.

At the Half

• The Lady Vols led Tennessee-Martin at halftime, 35-26. Tennessee has led at intermission of 24 games. Tennessee has trailed at the half of six contests and has been tied in the other three contests.
• Tennessee is now 23-1 when it leads going into the locker room, including the last 22, with the lone loss coming to Baylor (11/27).

Scoring from Simmons
• Sophomore Meighan Simmons led UT in scoring off the bench, totaling 20 points on a 7-of-13 showing from the floor.
• Her 20 points set her personal-NCAA Tournament-best, topping an 18-point performance versus Ohio State in last year's Sweet Sixteen (3/26).

Johnson Doubles Up
• Johnson collected the 36th double-double of her career with 14 points and 12 rebounds. With 36 double-doubles, Johnson moves into third place on UT's all-time list, trailing Chamique Holdsclaw and Candace Parker.
• Her 12-board total is two rebounds shy of her NCAA Tourney-best 14 rebounds set in last season's Marquette contest (3/21).

Shutting Down the Skyhawks
• Coming into today's game, Tennesse-Martin led all NCAA DI teams in scoring offense, averaging 81.1 points per game, topping second-best Notre Dame (79.6 ppg) and third-strongest Baylor (78.8 ppg).
• The Skyhawks' 49 points versus Tennessee marks their lowest point total of the season. The previous low mark of 66 points was set in a 66-55 win at Indiana State (Nov. 30).

Approaching 1,100 Wins

• Four more wins will put Summitt at her next victory milestone: 1,100 wins.

Glory, Glory - Look Who's Boarding
• Johnson is currently second on the all-time rebounding list with 1,176 boards.
• She needs 120 rebounds to catch program leader Chamique Holdsclaw, who pulled down 1,295 rebounds in her Lady Vol career.

• The Lady Vols await the winner of the No. 7 / No. 10 matchup between host DePaul and Brigham Young. The first round winners will meet Monday at Allstate Arena at 9:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and can be heard on the Lady Vol Network.
