NCAA Notes

-Sunday's game marks the first time OU and UT have met in the postseason. UT now holds a 1-0 edge over the Sooners in postseason, and 5-1 record overall against the Sooners.
-The Lady Vols are now 115-23 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, the best record in terms of wins in college basketball history.
-The Lady Vols move on to the Elite 8 for the 26th time.
-Holly Warlick improves to 3-0 in the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee Notes

-With the win, the Lady Vols improve to 27-7 on the season.

-UT allowed Oklahoma only 27 points in the first 20 minutes marking the fewest first-half points by an opponent since Auburn scored only 21 points on Feb. 21, 2013.
-Tennessee is 23-1 this season when leading at the halfway point.
-All eight Lady Vols that saw action made at least one basket in the today's game.
-Senior Kamiko Williams led UT in scoring for the fourth time this season, notching 15 points, matching her best scoring outing in an NCAA game (Creighton, 3/25/13), which she set in her last game. It marks her ninth time this season she has had double-digit scoring outings. Williams finished the game 6-of-8 from the field, 1-for-2 in treys and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
-Along with Williams, sophomores Cierra Burdick (13) and Isabelle Harrison (12), and senior Taber Spani (12) all scored in double figures.
-Harrison had an NCAA-high 11 points. Her previous best in an NCAA outing was eight points against Creighton. The sophomore also led the squad in rebounds, grabbing an NCAA-best seven. It was her best game since returning from a late-season injury. She last scored as many points, shen she had 14 vs. Alabama (1/20/13).
-With Harrison in the line-up, Tennessee improves to 21-3.
-Tennessee outscored Oklahoma 31-6 in bench points.
