  • Today's starters: Junior Angie Bjorklund, Sophomores Briana Bass, Glory Johnson, Shekinna Stricklen and Kelley Cain.
  • Four Lady Vols scored in double figures: Kelley Cain (20), Taber Spani (14), Angie Bjorklund (12) and Shekinna Stricklen (10)
  • Cain (20 pts, 20 rebs) and Spani (14 pts, 10 rebs) each posted double doubles; Stricklen (10 pts, 9 rebs) narrowly missed double double
  • UT opened the game with an 11-0 run. The first Delta State field goal was a three at the 16:56 mark of the first half.

    In only 19 minutes, she finished with 20 points and 20 rebounds
    Was 8-of-10 from the field
    Blocked seven shots

    Sophomore Glory Johnson:
    Had tonight's first basket, a layup at the 19:40 mark off an assist from Angie Bjorklund
    Finished with seven points and five rebounds

    Sophomore Shekinna Stricklen:
    Finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists

    Junior Angie Bjorklund:
    Finished with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists
