THE SOUTH CAROLINA GAME
- This marks the 46th meeting between the two schools dating back to the 1979-80 season.
- Auburn is one of five SEC teams UT will see in home-and-home meetings this season. The Lady Vols defeated the Tigers, 73-52, to open the SEC campaign on Jan. 1 on The Plains.
- Although the Tigers won seven of the first 15 contests with UT, the Orange has since claimed 27 of the last 30 games between the two squads.
- UT fans might recognize a familiar face on the Auburn bench in Lady Vol Olympian Carla McGhee (1986-90).
