KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- As a friend, student manager and team member, Hunter Thomas has made a lasting impact on the Lady Vols this season through his incredible and inspiring personality.
Joining the Tennessee women’s basketball team through FUTURE, a post-secondary inclusion program at UT for individuals with autism or intellectual or developmental disabilities, Hunter’s love for basketball made him the perfect match for the Lady Vols.
“Hunter never has a bad day,” head coach Holly Warlick said. “I always ask him how he is doing, and he always says, ‘I am good!’ You can’t put a value on him and how he lives. I am so happy that we have had opportunity to meet him and have him be a part of our program. He inspires us.”
