KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee will serve as host for the 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship First and Second Round games on March 23 and 25 at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tickets are on sale now.
The Lady Vols (24-7), who are ranked No. 10 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches Poll this week, will play an undetermined opponent on March 23 at either 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Two other teams will play in Knoxville on the date as well. Those teams and game times will be revealed when the NCAA bracket is announced on ESPN from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern on March 18.
The winning teams from the March 23 games will advance to play in an NCAA Second Round contest on Monday, March 25, at 7 p.m.
The winner of the NCAA Second Round game advances to the regional round in either Spokane, Wash., or Bridgeport, Conn., on March 30 and April 1, or in either Norfolk, Va., or Oklahoma City, Okla., on March 31 and April 2. The Final Four will be held in New Orleans, La., on April 7 and 9.
All-session tickets to the NCAA First and Second Rounds in Knoxville include a ticket for all three games. First Session tickets include both First Round games on March 23, while Second Session tickets are for the Second Round game on March 25. Single-game tickets also are available for either day.

Since 1994, when the women's format went to a single site for NCAA First/Second Round games, UT previously has served as host 13 times, advancing to the regional round every time. The Lady Vols last hosted in both 2010 and 2011.
