KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Lady Vols got in their final practice Friday afternoon before beginning play in the 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Lady Vols (24-7), who are the No. 2 seed in the Oklahoma City Regional, will face No. 15 seed Oral Roberts (18-12), in an NCAA First Round contest at approximately 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday. The winner of that game would play on Monday at 7 p.m. vs. the winner of Saturday's other first-round game, No. 7 Syracuse (24-7) and No. 10 Creighton (24-7).
Friday's activities included a news conference with the media covering the games in Knoxville and a practice lasting an hour and a half. Head coach Holly Warlick and seniors Taber Spani and Kamiko Williams represented UT in the news conference, and the rest of the team participated in interviews with members of the media in the Lady Vol locker room.
