KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Summer break is not far off, and that means it's almost time for camp. The summer of 2013 will feature the first-ever Holly Warlick Basketball Camps at the University of Tennessee.
For the past 36 summers, youngsters have been coming to UT to improve their skills at UT women's basketball camps. While she has been involved for many years with Pat Summitt's camps and assumed full responsibility last June, this will mark Warlick's first summer with her name associated.
The winner of the 2013 Spalding Maggie Dixon National Rookie Coach of the Year and SEC Coach of the Year awards, Warlick and her staff will offer a trio of camps in June. She invites young women to work on their game in Tennessee's Thompson-Boling Arena and Pratt Pavilion as well as at other training sites around campus.
The first offered session is June 9-12 and is the Overnight Camp for those age 10 through rising senior. Week two features Day Camp for ages six through 12 on June 12-15, while the third option is the Next Level Skills Camp for those age 14 through rising senior. Dates are June 15 and 16.
