KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Lady Vol basketball signees Cierra Burdick and Ariel Massengale have been named to the Parade Magazine All-American team.

The highly-touted duo was part of 40 high school seniors honored on Parade's 35th annual girls basketball team in the magazine on Sunday.

Burdick, of Butler High School in Matthews, N.C., and Massengale, of Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Ill., are both consensus top-five recruits in the Class of 2011 and competed in the McDonalds's and WBCA High School All-America games.

Burdick is ranked as the top incoming freshman small forward, while Massengale is rated the country's No. 1 point guard recruit.

The pair also accepted invitations to attend the 2011 USA Women's U19 World Championship Team Trials, joining UT rising sophomore guard Meighan Simmons from May 22-25 in Colorado Spring, Colo.

Along with fellow signee Isabelle Harrison, of Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tenn., Burdick and Massengale give Tennessee the nation's No. 1 recruiting class, according to ESPN HoopGurlz.
