KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- On a home football Saturday, the Lady Vol basketball team treated UT fans to an open practice at Thompson-Boling Arena and then an autograph session at Toyota Volunteer Village.
Second-year Tennessee Head Coach Holly Warlick put her 2013-14 squad through its paces during a two-hour workout from 9 to 11 a.m. The defending SEC champion Lady Vols are preparing for their lone exhibition game on Nov. 4 vs. Carson-Newman (7 p.m.) and their regular-season opener on Nov. 8 at Middle Tennessee (7 p.m. Central time/8 p.m. ET).
A couple hours later on Saturday, the team made its way to one of the busiest pregame locations on campus, Toyota Volunteer Village. The 10-player squad interacted with Tennessee fans and signed autographs from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. before heading to Neyland Stadium for the SEC matchup between Tennessee and the University of Georgia.
