Lady Vol Single Game Tickets On Sale

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Single-game tickets for the 2012-13 Tennessee women's basketball season went on sale Monday. With first-year head coach Holly Warlick at the helm, the Lady Vols face their first exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 vs. Carson-Newman. The initial home contest of the regular season is slated for Nov. 15, as Rice comes to town for a 7 p.m. tip.

Single game tickets are $20 for 100/200 level, $15 for 300 level and $10 for 300 level general admission.

Tennessee's home schedule brings some of the finest teams in women's college basketball to Thompson-Boling Arena, including two programs that appeared in the 2012 NCAA Final Four in Stanford and Notre Dame as well as perennial non-conference powers North Carolina and Rutgers.

The complete home lineup for the Lady Vols includes exhibition games vs. Carson-Newman (Nov. 1, 7 p.m.) and Coker (Nov. 4, 2 p.m.) as well as regular-season match-ups vs. Rice (Nov. 15, 7 p.m.), Alcorn State (Nov. 25, 2 p.m.), Middle Tennessee (Nov. 28, 7 p.m.), North Carolina (Dec. 2, 1 p.m.), Stanford (Dec. 22, 4 p.m.), Davidson (Dec. 28, 7 p.m.), Rutgers (Dec. 30, 1 p.m.), Georgia (Jan. 6, 1 p.m.), Missouri (Jan. 10, 8 p.m.), Alabama (Jan. 20, 1 p.m.), Notre Dame (Jan. 28, 7 p.m.), Mississippi State (Jan. 31, 7 p.m.), Ole Miss (Feb. 10, 2 p.m.), Vanderbilt (Feb. 17, 2:30 p.m.), Auburn (Feb. 21, 7 p.m.) and Texas A&M (Feb. 28, 7 p.m.).

The Alabama match-up on Jan. 20 is the "We Back Pat" game, while the Feb. 10 contest vs. Ole Miss is the "Live Pink, Bleed Orange" game.

Tennessee returns six letterwinners, including last year's third-leading scorer in junior Meighan Simmons, three-point threat Taber Spani and Full Court Freshman All-America point guard Ariel Massengale, who broke the UT rookie record for assists last season with 162. Warlick also welcomes five newcomers, including three players (Bashaara Graves, Andraya Carter and Jasmine Jones) who were ranked in the top 40 of the HoopGurlz Class of 2012 ESPNU Top 100 Rankings.


Fans interested in being a part of the Tennessee women's basketball team's 2012-13 home schedule have two discounted ticket packages from which to choose.

The "Holiday Pack" includes all four December games (North Carolina, Stanford, Davidson and Rutgers) for $60 for lower level tickets and $45 for 300-level seating. After the North Carolina game, fans may purchase a three-game holiday pack of Stanford, Davidson and Rutgers for $40 for the lower level and $30 for the 300 level.

Fans also can take advantage of the "Coke 6" package, featuring games vs. North Carolina, Stanford, Missouri, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Auburn. A ticket to all of those games costs $150 for the lower level and #90 for the 300 level.
